Applies to: the kaffeine.tech website. Each app has its own policy: SketchPad and Unmessify.
1. Who I am
This site is run by Kanishka Chakraborty, an individual developer in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, trading as Kaffeine Software. That is a trading name, not a company. I am the data controller (GDPR) and data fiduciary (India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) for what is described below.

2. Summary
- Reading this site sends nothing about you to me. No analytics script, no tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party embeds, no advertising.
- Fonts, images and video thumbnails are served from this site, so no other company learns you visited.
- When you use an install link, I count it — without your IP address or anything else that identifies you.
- If you send a message through the contact form, I receive what you wrote and use it only to reply.
- I keep no request logs.
3. What is processed, and why
Visiting pages
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which has to process your IP address and ordinary request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare does this as my service provider. I have turned off request logging, so I keep no record of who visited.
Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as
__cf_bm or cf_clearance) when it needs to tell
people from automated traffic. These are not used for tracking or
advertising, which is why no consent banner is needed.
Install links
App Store and Google Play links on this site carry a tag naming the site
and the page they are on (for example
utm_source=kaffeine.tech, utm_campaign=home), so
the stores can tell me how many installs came from here. The tag describes
the link, never you. Your browser also tells the store you came from
kaffeine.tech — the domain only, not the page.
Links like /get/sketchpad/, used in videos and QR codes, send
you to the right store for your device. Each use is counted with: which
app, which kind of device (iPhone, Android or other), where the link was
shared (such as youtube.com or a QR code) and your country. No
IP address, browser details, cookie or identifier is stored, so a count
cannot be traced back to you. Counts are kept for three months.
Why: to learn whether this site actually helps people find the apps — a legitimate interest that needs nothing personal.
Contact form
If you write to me, I receive your name, email address, subject and message. They are delivered to my inbox by Resend, an email service acting as my processor. I use them only to reply to you. I keep the conversation for as long as it is useful to both of us, and delete it whenever you ask.
To stop spam floods, your IP address is held for ten minutes as a counter of how many messages it has sent, then deleted automatically.
Why: you asked me to respond, and spam protection is a legitimate interest.
Stored in your browser
- Theme choice. If you pick light or dark, that choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. It is never sent anywhere.
- Offline copy. Pages and files you have visited may be kept by your browser so the site loads quickly and works without a connection. Clearing site data removes them.
Links to other sites
Links to the App Store, Google Play, YouTube, Discord and Buy Me a Coffee take you to those services, which have their own policies. Nothing is loaded from them until you follow a link.
4. Where data goes
Cloudflare runs a global network and Resend is based in the United States, so data may be processed outside your country. Both commit to standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU and UK. I do not sell, rent or share personal data, and I do not use it for advertising or profiling.
5. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, or object to how it is used. Just email me. I will reply within 30 days, and there is no charge.
In the EU, EEA or UK you also have the rights to restrict processing and to data portability, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
In India you can also nominate someone to exercise your rights, and if I do not resolve a grievance you can escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Children
The site collects nothing from people who simply read it. If you are under 18 and want to get in touch, please ask a parent or guardian to do it for you.
7. Changes
If what this site does with data changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
